Aqui está um curso de permacultura recentes

“A permacultura é a “(agri)cultura permanente”.

perma3 Permacultura

Come and have a look at the work we have done so far…we can show you how Permaculture works within Terramada, share ideas and experiences.

Permaculture allows us to live healthily, in a rich system of natural abundance.
Permaculture systems is gaining global recognition for its positive contributions to culture, economy and mostly to the environment and to human quality of life.

Ways you can bring the principles of permaculture into your every day life.:

  1. Look at the way you get to different places like work… could you take a bus? Walk? Arrange a walking bus for the children to get to school some days?
  2. How do you get rid of your food waste… how about giving it back o the plants in the garden?
  3. Would insulating your house save you money and help the environment?
  4. Write a letter asking for less packaging to the local supermarket.
  5. Go on an ecological activity break. Try sleeping in a yurt or a tree house

Ethical values:

  • Looking after the Earth.
  • Looking after people and all living beings.
  • Distributing surplus and applying limits to consumerism.

Nothing is lost, nothing is a waste, everything transforms. (free adaptation from Lavoisier law)

These 3 principles are inter-related as it is not possible to look after the earth without looking after its people and vice versa.

Apart from  these ethical principles, Permaculture also combines a set of design principles which govern any intervention on the land. Some of these principles are universal and represent simple common sense. When these are correctly  applied with maximum efficiency,  it can  create and permanently maintain natural and humanistic systems.

Some examples of these design principles are the following:

•           Relative positioning.
•           Each element has various functions.
•           Each important function is supported by various elements.
•           Planning/designing by zoning and sectoring.
•           Using renewable energies.
•           The problem is the solution.
•           Integration instead of segregation.
•           Re-forestation.
•           Biodiversity.
