Aloe vera & medicinal herb plantation is a project in development. We are cultivating aloe vera & aloe barbadensis, combined with medicinal and native/wild plants/herbs. The majority of these plants have therapeutic & medicinal characteristics. The aloe barbadensis is specially effective in the treatment of cancer.
With this project we want to use local flora, to fight desertification, to potentiate water retention on soils and so contributing for the balance of this eco-system.
Bringing beehives to Terramada is the next step, in order to promote pollination and continue to develop the vital biodiversity cycle.
Education Center
With our knowledge, in co-operation with other talented individual, groups and Assocaitions, we aim to promote Terramada as a school, a learning center or an experimental laboratory.
Our goal is:
- to educate people in eco-construction, permaculture, handicrafts, sustainability, holistic activities, etc.
- to create a certificate level course permaculture (PDC and practical courses)
